The use of our silk is very simple : You fish and when you finish your fishing trip you let silk on your reel, without drying, without lubrication, and you store it for several months.

When you take it out, it will be as you put it in, in fact these silks have no memory. The density of these silks pierces the wind dramatically, while having a "posed" very discreet and precise feel..

Numbers available : from 1 to 5

 

For the Nymph fishing under the rod we offer silk n°1 in 12,50 metres for a price of 40 € : this silk does not break the natural drift of your line while having a bit of weight to pull down the bottom line.

 

The silks number 3 to 5 are destinated to fry fishing while numbers 1 and 2 are more suitable for fishing and nymph drowned.

The densities of our bristles let you down a number relative to the number you usually use. For exemple, for a fishing rod in silk in 4 you can use number 3, therefore you gain in discretion while less tiring your nerve fishing rod,

 

 

 

Tips, buying silk and lubrication kit

Our silks are sold with a lubrication kit (a box of fat and a felt pad).

Before the first fish we advise you to respect our recommendations, namely soft floss between your two stakes, the dry rub with the felt pad making back and forth on a meter by squeezing silk with felt, During this operation a silk heating occurs dilating fibers thereof by creating interstices. At this moment, grease the hottest part of the Silk... repeat across the length of the bristle.

Duration of operation ½ hour, then there remains only you try (This break is not done only once).

 

note : during the first outings silk tends to scratch in the rings !! - its normal, dont worry, it fades while fishing : is lapping.
